Winters are long and often, hard here in the northeast of the US. By mid-March we are all looking for signs of spring while the temperatures are still dipping below freezing and snow is still a very real possibility.
Here we have a flock of Canadian Geese taking flight over the waters, hearalding the arrival of spring with their seasonal return from the warmer climates in the south.
