This little guy seems to have chosen some pretty big footsteps to follow!

I love watching these tiny little birds, called Sanderlings, when I go to the beach. I adore the way they dash into the newly churned sand as the surf pulls away from the shore to grab a quick bite or two before the next wave comes rushing in and they skidaddle toward drier ground to avoid being swept away.
